4Dear Players, Coaches, and Families,Thank you for being part of this year%u2019s 2025 VFW Youth Group of Orange County Basketball Tournament! This is one of the biggest years yet, with 280+ teams from all across California coming together to celebrate youth basketball. It%u2019s inspiring to see so many players, coaches, and families sharing their love for the game.A heartfelt thank you goes out to our entire Tournament Committee for the tremendous effort it took to bring this event to life. From securing gyms and building game schedules to registering teams and coordinating shirts and giveaways, this tournament is a massive undertaking and it wouldn%u2019t be possible without their dedication. We are especially grateful to Kary Ikemotoand Dave Sakamoto for their leadership and expertise in guiding the tournament operations, to Adyson and Joelle Fujimoto for assembling the tournament book, and to all of our division coordinators who have taken on the responsibility of leading each of our 20 divisions from 3rd through 12th grade.But this weekend is about more than just basketball. VFW Basketball is about community. It%u2019s about sportsmanship, building friendships, and making memories that last far beyond the final buzzer. I encourage everyone including players, coaches, and families to take time to connect with one another, cheer for other teams, and celebrate the shared love of the game. These relationships are what make the VFW tournament special.We can%u2019t wait to see the great games, teamwork, and smiles throughout the tournament.
